'Actor mockingly tells fans to relax as Mohammed Shami faces airport trouble'

New Delhi: Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami has started training for his highly anticipated comeback to cricket. The pacer has been sidelined since the 2023 ODI World Cup due to an Achilles Tendon surgery earlier this year. Shami recently shared on his social media that he was headed somewhere for training but got stuck at the airport due to a flight delay. He took to his official Instagram on Saturday, 14th September, to post pictures of himself waiting at the airport.

Then the story becomes more funny when Popular Indian actor Sonu Sood comments on Mohammed Shami’s post mentioned above. He asked the fans not to worry about the pacer, suggesting he enjoyed a nap amid the delay.

Sonu Sood commented on the post: “Aby bhai ki tension mat lo bhai He’s sleeping like always”.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammed Shami had a fantastic 2023 ODI World Cup. The 34-year-old finished as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament, bagging 24 wickets from just seven outings.
