Sanju Samson silences critics with maiden T20I century, becomes second fastest Indian batsman after Rohit Sharma

New Delhi: Sanju Samson, the standout performer of Team India, showcased his brilliance with a magnificent century, dismantling Bangladesh with his explosive batting display. In the thrilling third and final T20 match against Bangladesh in Hyderabad, Samson played a breathtaking inning to score a century in just 40 balls. This remarkable feat earned him the title of scoring the second-fastest century for India in T20 Internationals. During his remarkable innings, Samson mercilessly attacked Bangladeshi spinner Rishad Hossain, smashing him for five consecutive sixes in a single over. Sanju Samson goes past Rohit Sharma:

In the proceeding, Sanju also broke Rohit Sharma’s record during the match. In a match against Australia, Rohit took 29 runs off Mitchell Starc’s over in the T20 World Cup earlier this year. Sanju smashed Bangladesh spinner Rishad Hossain for 30 runs as he slammed five sixes in an over. Sanju also hit the second-fastest century by an Indian in T20I history.
