After beginning the season with a disappointing 2-8 record, the Milwaukee Bucks have managed to turn things around.

At 10-9, the Bucks are riding a six-game win streak as they prepare for a massive NBA Emirates Cup matchup against the Detroit Pistons. They are firing on all cylinders, fueled by the Kia MVP-caliber play of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

The most significant uptick has come on the offensive end of the floor, with Lillard excelling and Antetokounmpo ranking second in the league in scoring with 32.9 ppg. Additionally, the Bucks have the 11th-best offensive rating in the league at 114.4, according to StatMuse.

Lillard has been one of the biggest reasons why the Bucks are playing so well as a team right now. He’s been on a tear with five double-doubles over his last six games and he’s averaging 25.8 ppg, 9.8 apg and 4.3 rpg during the Bucks’ win streak.

The Bucks will shift their focus to Tuesday’s NBA Cup matchup against the Pistons as a win will grant the Bucks a spot in the Knockout Rounds.
